CARS FOR THE BOYS!
I was painting my cousin Lily's nails, and the boys definitely wanted to get in on the action! So now my cute little cousins Kai, Euan, and Toby all have multicoloured cars on their nails. Nail art is not just for girls it seems!

IGLOOS AND PENGUINS AND CROSSES AND TING
Don't get me wrong, I'm not some crazy cat religious nut or anything [in fact I happen to not be religious at all] but I find crosses very aesthetically pleasing! So along with my igloos and penguins [they have happy feet] - I added a few variations of crosses.

EIGHTIES EARRING
This is my mum's old earring from the eighties. I've always loved it, and thought the design would work quite nicely on a nail..
After I did it I realised it looks exactly like the Outlook logo as well!
KIND WORDS FROM ROSHNI
Roshni is the lovely lady who I did the workshop with! She very kindly wrote a lovely blog post about me on the Fabric blog - have a read of what she wrote here.

SO I DID A WORKSHOP.. !
So a little while ago, I did my first workshop! It was kind of an experiment - I'd never thought of doing workshops or anything before - but after being contacted by Roshni's boyfriend Rob, who wanted to buy her something of that sort for a Christmas present, we agreed on a Saturday morning couple of hours tutorial, followed by a full nail art manicure! It ended up being really fun, and (I hope) a success! I talked with Roshni lots about all things nails, and gave her any tips or tricks I thought may help her if she was trying it out herself. She went through my blog and chose her favourite ten designs. I painted each of her nails, and then she tried out painting the same design on my nails. I have to say I was bloody impressed with her debut nail art skills - with a bit of practice, I'm sure she could be brilliant! So here are some pictures of Roshni's nails. I have a picture somewhere of my nails (which Roshni painted) - I'll put it up when I find it!
So just out of interest - would nail art workshops be something that anybody that follows my blog would be interested in? Let me know if so by commenting underneath this post!

MAPLE WALK PRIMARY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS FAIR
So a few weekends ago it was the Maple Walk primary school's christmas fair. I was there for the whole thing painting lots and lots of very mini nails! I met lots of little cutie pies, and I'm pretty sure they were all pretty happy with their nails! I only managed to take a few pictures, as I was insanely busy for the whole thing - but here are the pics I did take!

RIVER ISLAND VIP WEEKENDER
On 10 & 11 December, I was painting nails at the River Island VIP weekend at one of their shops on Oxford Street. In the shop I was in, Tony & Guy were there doing hair, Nars were doing make up, and I was there doing nails - and all for FREE! Lucky customers! It was lots of fun, and I painted LOTS of nails! I'm not putting all of the pictures up, as they would take up the whole of my blog if I did! But here are some of the pics. For this event, I was offering a menu of some of the simpler designs I do - this was so I could get through more people!
